With the ability to create your own profile and upload photos, we are exposed to a personalised experience whilst internet, with the power to interact with others by writing on their wall and commenting on their photos: we socialise and interact, but in a realm different to that of reality.

For those people who either like creating art or for those who simply like browsing through it, Deviantart allows people to upload their artworks (anything from a scanned in drawing or a wallpaper designed for a mobile phone) giving people the option to comment on them and inquire the artist about the process or present their constructive criticism. You also have the option of purchasing prints or do an artwork trade or request to have a piece of work created for you.

A fairly popular site among younger teenagers, you are given a virtual pet which you have the responsibility to feed and keep happy. You are encouraged to participate in an endless array of activities such as solves cases, play games to earn money which can be spent on your choosing within the game.
